Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan and line with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and whisk in sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract and Irish whiskey until fully incorporated.
Fold in flour and salt gently until batter is smooth and well combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 28-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle with whiskey-infused ganache or sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.
