Pink lady milkshakes made with strawberries, raspberries, malted milk, Greek yogurt and ice cream.

Kind of like a smoothie fell into a milkshake and couldn’t climb it’s way out.

Can you imagine the Pink Ladies from Grease (Rizzo would spike hers) sitting at the malt shop drinking these and wondering out loud what the secret ingredient is giving them that tangy flavor? Back then Greek yogurt wasn’t a big thing the way it is today.

But I wasn’t thinking about all the Pink Ladies when I made this.

With her milky skin, pink cheeks and shiny hair, all doe-eyed and innocent. Seemingly filled with beauty and goodness, inside and out, like the berries and yogurt. Health foods.

The malted milk and ice cream are the wild cards. Like Sandy, who, to get the boy, does a complete turn around, transforming her goody-two-shoes self into a smoking hot vixen.

Pink Lady Milkshakes

Almost a bad girl.

Underneath, she’s still exactly the same. Just like this smoothie that took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up as a decadent milkshake. Looks are deceiving, because beneath the surface the smoothie it started out as, with a ton of berries and yogurt, still exists, making it completely good for you.

Almost a health food.
