Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and refried beans, cook for another 2 minutes.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips, then spread the beef and bean mixture evenly on top.
Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese and dot with sour cream.
Repeat layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese. Top with sliced black olives if desired.
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.

This casserole can be customized with your favorite taco toppings like jalapeños or fresh cilantro for extra flavor.
