Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss well to coat.
Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles to fit mini muffin tins.
Press crust circles into mini muffin cups and fill each with the apple mixture.
Place a small piece of butter on top of each filling.
Cover with another crust circle or lattice topping, seal edges and brush with beaten egg wash.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and filling is bubbly. Let cool before serving.
