Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken breasts, searing each side for about 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, broth, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, and garlic powder.
Pour the mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 50 minutes until chicken is tender.
Remove chicken and shred it with two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce.
Serve the pulled chicken on buns.
Notes
Try adding coleslaw on top for extra crunch or serve with a side of chips!
