Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the honey, vegetable oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir well.
Gradually mix in the whole wheat flour until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased bread pan.
Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
