Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, and half the minced garlic. Mix well and form into meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
Add remaining garlic to the pot and sauté until fragrant. Pour in crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
Return meatballs to the pot and simmer sauce on low heat for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve the sauce hot over cooked pasta or as desired.
Notes
This sauce tastes best when made ahead and reheated, allowing flavors to develop fully.
