Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Press dough into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
In another bowl, combine strawberries, white sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix gently.
Pour strawberry mixture into the prebaked crust. Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
