Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix the Brownie Batter:
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined. The batter will be thick.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter). Do not overbake, as these brownies are best soft and chewy.
Cool: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before glazing.
Make the Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and strawberry jam (if using) until smooth. Adjust consistency with more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
Glaze the Brownies: Once the brownies are cool, drizzle or spread the glaze evenly over the top.
Slice and Serve: Let the glaze set for a few minutes before slicing the brownies into squares or rectangles.
