Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and allow them to cool on the baking sheet.
