Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually blend in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Fold in the M&M's and scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra soft cookies, be careful not to overbake. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
