Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Notes
Let the cake cool completely before frosting with marshmallow cream and adding graham cracker crumbs for that authentic s'mores flavor.
