Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside to macerate.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter, do not stir.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the crust comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
This peach cobbler is best served fresh but can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
