Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Place Oreo cookies evenly over the bottom of the pan in a single layer.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until boiling. Boil for 3 minutes.
Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the Oreo cookies in the pan.
Bake for 5 minutes and then immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee layer. Let them melt for 2 minutes, then spread chocolate evenly.
Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly on top of the melted chocolate layer.
Allow dessert to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
