Lay out 4 slices of bread. Add 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1 oz ham, 1 oz turkey, and another slice of Swiss cheese. Top with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Remove sandwiches and let rest for 2 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam on the side for dipping.
