Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in mint extract.
Add Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until well coated.
Fold in the chocolate chips gently before pressing the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For extra minty flavor, drizzle melted chocolate on top after setting.
