Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mint extract.
Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually blend into the wet mixture.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Allow brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For an extra minty touch, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top after baking.
