Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
