Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the maple syrup.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the crumbled cooked bacon.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
