Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Cut each bacon slice into 3 equal pieces.
In a bowl, mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, and black pepper.
Dip each bacon piece into the maple mixture to coat.
Place the coated bacon pieces on the wire rack and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy and caramelized.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat briefly for best texture.
