Instructions
Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Baking Sheet:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Mix the Spices and Sugar:
In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, sea salt, cinnamon, cumin, cayenne pepper, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix well to combine.
Prepare the Nuts:
If using egg white for extra crispiness, in a separate bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy and then toss the mixed nuts in the egg white to coat.
Add the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce to the spiced sugar mixture and stir to form a thick paste.
Toss the nuts in this mixture until they are evenly coated.
Bake:
Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and to prevent them from sticking.
Cool and Serve:
Remove the nuts from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
Once cooled, transfer the nuts to a serving bowl or store them in an airtight container.
