Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Boil the sweet potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 15 minutes.
Drain and mash the sweet potatoes. Stir in brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt.
Spread the sweet potato mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Top with mini marshmallows and chopped pecans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
For a spicy twist, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sweet potato mixture.
