  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Nutella plus more for topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add in eggs, vegetable oil, Nutella, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely and top with a dollop of Nutella.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality cocoa powder and Nutella.
