Instructions
Preparation Steps
Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the pork shoulder chunks on all sides for about 5 minutes.
Add pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar to the pot. Stir to combine.
Lock the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
Shred the pork with two forks and stir to coat with the cooking liquid before serving.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro for an extra burst of flavor.
