Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add the cocoa powder, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.
Stir in the flour and salt until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Fold in pecans, caramel bits, and chocolate chips evenly.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
