Instructions
Prepare the Fruit:
Slice the Peaches: Wash and slice the peaches into thin wedges.
Prepare Additional Fruits: Thinly slice the orange and lemon.
Mix the Sangria:
Combine Wine and Peach Schnapps: In a large pitcher, pour the bottle of white wine and add the peach schnapps.
Add Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup: Mix in the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. Stir well to combine. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to your taste.
Add the Fruits: Add the sliced peaches, orange, lemon, and if using, raspberries or strawberries to the pitcher.
Chill: Let the sangria mixture chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to meld together.
Serve:
Garnish and Serve: Once chilled and ready to serve, give the sangria a good stir. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice cubes, making sure to get some of the fruit pieces into each glass.
Top Off with Club Soda (Optional): If you prefer a fizzy sangria, top off each glass with a splash of club soda or sparkling water.
Add a Sprig of Mint: Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint for a refreshing aroma and a touch of color.
