Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes followed by half of the ham and cheese.
Repeat the layers with remaining potatoes, ham, and cheese.
Pour the heavy cream over the top, then season with salt and black pepper.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Notes
For a richer flavor, try adding some sautéed onions.
