Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a saucepan, cook rice according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Once the beef is almost cooked through, add in the chopped bell peppers and cook for a few more minutes.
Stir in the hot honey and soy sauce; mix until well combined.
When rice is done, fluff it with a fork and divide it into serving bowls.
Spoon the beef mixture over the rice and sprinkle with green onions before serving.
Notes
Add a squeeze of lime for extra flavor. Great served with a side of steamed vegetables.
