Instructions
Preparation Steps
Trim the ends off the green beans and rinse them under cold water.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Drain the beans and immediately transfer them to ice water to stop cooking. Drain again and pat dry.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the drained green beans to the skillet. Toss to coat and cook for 3-4 minutes until warmed through.
Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well and remove from heat.
Serve immediately or at room temperature for best flavor.
Notes
This dish pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken or fish and can be prepared ahead for easy Weeknight dinners.
