Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in all four cheeses until fully melted and smooth.
Season the cheese sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine cooked pasta with the cheese sauce, tossing gently to coat evenly.
Serve immediately while warm, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top before serving. Leftovers store well refrigerated for up to 2 days.
