Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 7 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and sliced bell pepper, cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
Add the rice, chicken broth, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Once rice is tender, add peas and fluff with a fork. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
