Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place the chicken breast, chicken broth, carrots, celery, thyme, garlic, and black pepper in the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the egg noodles and stir.
Once cooked, remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker.
Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of lemon juice before serving.
