Instructions
Preparation Steps
Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat olive oil. Brown the pork chops on each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden.
Remove the chops and set aside. Add chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to deglaze.
Return the pork chops to the pot. Lock the lid in place and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.
Release pressure naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure. Remove pork chops to a plate.
Set the pot to sauté. Stir flour into heavy cream to make slurry, then add to the pot. Cook and stir until gravy thickens, about 3 minutes.
Serve pork chops hot topped with creamy gravy.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops with garlic and herbs before cooking.
