Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add the milk and stir just until the dough comes together. Do not overmix.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle.
Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on top. Serve warm.
