Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix cherries with 0.25 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour. Spread evenly in prepared dish.
In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly. Fold in chocolate chips.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over cherries. Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is crisp and cherries are bubbly.
Allow to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
Notes
This dessert can be served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
