Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Add eggs, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
While cake bakes, prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Remove cake from oven and immediately drizzle the glaze evenly over the hot cake.
Allow cake to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra special touch, sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the glaze before it sets.
