Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the granulated sugar until smooth.
Add the mashed bananas, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and stir until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Mix 0.25 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the top.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
