Preparation Steps
Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
Toss chicken pieces in the dry mixture until fully coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Cook sauce until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Add fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Serve immediately garnished with chopped green onions.
