Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add diced onions, carrots, celery, and garlic to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are softened.
Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Add thyme, salt, and pepper.
Stir in elbow macaroni and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream before serving.
