Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture, and beat until well combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the green food coloring and white chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

For an extra festive touch, top each cookie with a red candy heart before baking.
