Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, cream together the butter and 3/4 cup of the sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the sour cream and mix until fully incorporated.
Add the flour and gently mix until combined.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Layer half of the apples over the batter.
Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle half over the apple layer.
Pour remaining batter over apple-cinnamon layer, repeat layering with the rest of the apples and cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Notes
