Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined to form a dough.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle dark chocolate chips over the hot shortbread. Let chocolate melt, then spread evenly.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
