In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Place the seasoned wings into the crockpot and pour BBQ sauce over them. Stir gently to coat all wings.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken wings are tender and cooked through.
Optional: For crispy skin, place wings on a baking sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes after slow cooking.
Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the wings overnight before cooking. Serve with celery sticks and ranch dressing.
