2tablespoonsolive oil
4clovesgarlicminced
1cupheavy cream
1cupchicken or vegetable broth
1cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepperto taste
2tablespoonsfresh parsleychopped
Optional: Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Add the heavy cream and chicken or vegetable broth to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it with a little of the reserved pasta cooking water.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the garlic cream sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. If desired, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
Garnish and Serve:
Once the pasta is well coated in the sauce, remove from heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
