Instructions
White Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously to form a smooth paste.
Gradually pour in the whole milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Continue cooking and whisking until the sauce thickens.
Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried oregano to the white sauce. Stir well and remove from heat.
Chicken Filling:
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
Incorporate the shredded chicken, followed by the thawed and drained spinach. Cook until heated through.
