Preparation Steps
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
In a large bowl, whisk the sugar and vanilla extract into the chilled cream until medium peaks form.
Fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until well combined.
Divide the mousse into serving glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Before serving, sprinkle the cookie crumbles on top for garnish.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute the heavy cream with coconut cream.
