Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Scoop dough into bite-sized drops and roll lightly in powdered sugar. Place on baking sheet with space between each.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to wire racks.
Serve warm or at room temperature for an indulgent cookie dough experience.
Notes
For extra richness, try adding a pinch of sea salt on top before baking. Enjoy with a glass of cold milk.
