Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
Fold chocolate chips into the cheesecake mixture. Pour over the crust and spread evenly.
Bake for 35 minutes or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
