Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until well combined; then add melted butter and mix thoroughly.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs but no wet batter.
Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra indulgent touch, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top before baking.
