Cook Bacon and Onion: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside. Leave about 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in the skillet. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the baked beans, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Stir in the cooked onions and half of the bacon.
Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the bean mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining bacon over the top.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the beans are bubbly and the top is caramelized.
Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
